Can't view DISaver webpage

I've gone to the main page and also the FAQ page at http://www.wdwinfo.com/dissavers/dissavers-faq.htm and both pages are only loading about 1/3 or 1/4 of the page. I tried on both Netscape 4.75 and IE 5.1.3 for Macintosh. I cleared cache (and history) on both and did a reload but am still having the same problem. The load bar shows that it is finished loading but the page is still not completely loaded. Can someone send me the text version of the FAQ via email (simple text please), in case this problem continues?

It is working ok for me on IE. Try it one more time, if you still have a problem, please let me know and I will report it :D

Yes, less a $15 handling fee. Of course, the amount of the rebate is dependent on the commission we receive. If the commission is more than 10%, you'll receive that. You will always know after your reservation is confirmed what the rebate will be.

What if I already have a reservation?

If your reservation is booked with a travel agency (even Dreams Unlimited Travel), it is not possible to get your existing reservation covered under this program. If your reservation was booked directly, it may be possible to cover it under your new membership. Please contact disavers@wdwinfo.com with specifics, and we will let you know if your existing reservation can be transferred.

Can I get Disney tickets at a discount?

While we can not offer tickets only at a discount, you can book a basic package (room and tickets), and you will receive your DISSavers discount on the entire package.

Does the discount apply to air inclusive vacations?

Currently, many of the major airlines have discontinued paying travel agency commissions. In select circumstances, a small commission MAY apply to an air inclusive vacation, but these vary based on a number of factors. We suggest that our members expect that the air portion of a package will not be commissionable. If there is a commission paid on it, you will receive that back as part of your rebate.

Can I use this service more than once a year?

You can use your membership on as many "commission free" vacations as you like, during the term of your membership!!

What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Dreams will not levy a fee for cancellation after the reservation is booked. However, penalties and fees may apply from the tour operator that the reservation was booked through. You will be advised of any charges or penalties before we cancel your reservation.

Are there any hidden fees associated with this?

No. Everything is clearly listed on our Terms and Conditions page. The only other fees that apply to this service are the $15 per reservation handling fee, and the $15 per change fee. Additional fees are withheld from the final rebate.

What constitutes a "change"?

A change fee is charged any time you change your room type, dates of travel or resort selection. Change fees do not apply to changes made when securing a new discount or special.

How will my credit card be charged?

You credit card is charged for the amount of your membership fee only. We have chosen to use PayPal as the preferred method of payment processing because of the excellent security that site provides. Dreams Unlimited does not directly charge your credit card at any time.

When will Dreams Unlimited charge my credit card?

Dreams Unlimited will NEVER charge your credit card. Your payments are processed directly with the resort/tour operator with whom your reservation was placed. This way you are always assured that the money you pay towards your vacation is immediately applied to your vacation. This is done for your protection.

What if I want to make changes to my reservation after I book?

You can make as many changes as you like to your reservation, but a change fee of $15 per change does apply. Change fees do not apply to changes made in order to secure a special discount or offer.

What if a member of my family wants to use my membership?

As long as the member is traveling with and paying for the reservation, you can have up to 9 people travel with you. If a family member wishes to use DISavers for a vacation where the member is NOT traveling, they will have to sign up for a seperate membership.

What if I want to book a vacation that's not listed on the site?

Currently, we are only able to provide vacations from certain suppliers. We will be expanding the number of suppliers that we work with on a regular basis. Currently, those suppliers are:

What about Annual Passholders and Disney Club members (for Walt Disney World and Disneyland reservations)?

Any discounts that are available through Disney Club or Annual Passholder programs can be booked through your DISavers membership. You will still receive the booking commission free!

How long will it take to get my rebate?

In some cases, we will be able to apply your rebate right to your final payment on your vacation. In cases where that can not be done, your rebate will be sent to you 4 to 6 weeks after completion of travel.

On Netscape 4.75 all I'm getting is the buttons on the left hand side with a blank page. On IE, The page loads down to the words that say:"You can use this discount EVEN IF you are using.." All pictures and buttons are showing including the limo ad. Then the page freezes for about 15 minutes and then goes blank except for the buttons on the side (I suspect it's waiting for another gif.) Maybe the webmaster can try viewing the page with a Mac. I do have a slow connection at 26K right now.

Anyway thanks for the copy and paste. I'm trying to evaluate the savings for me.

Hi Bev,

I can't get the page to load in Netscape 4.77, but it did come up for me using IE 5.0 using OS 9.2.2 It also came showed up with IE 5.1.3 and Netscape 6.2 in OS X.

I think it has something to do with a Javascript/Netscape/Mac conflict. :(
 

I have OS 9.0 so I guess it's time to update. IE 5 won't load for me on OS 9.

I have had problems in the past with many of the pages of this site on my macs, none with my wintel machines. All I would see was a black center column with no text. If you highlighted the center text area you could cut and paste the text into a word processor and see it. I haven't looked on my laptop with OS 10.1.3.

The real problem is not with your computer or OS but with the web designer who coded the pages, poor form to not check your page with all operationg systems and browsers.
