Cant understand this Fast Pass

Anyone have a good video or something explaining this fast pass mess. Last time i was at WDW was in 2009. Im not staying on site this time and going in two weeks. DO i have to buy tickets first before selecting rides etc etc


If I buy my tickets online today will I get access right away?

1. valid tickets are required before you can get FP+
2. Yes. Your FP+ windows open at 30 days for staying off site. Since you are going in two weeks, you can get FP+ as soon as you link your ticket to MyDisneyExperience.
