Hi, thought we'd ask you this since your trip is fresh in your mind. We're hoping to go for a few days the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Did you go to AK at all that weekend? It seems from the dates listed this year that Xmas activities started later at AK. We're mainly hoping to get a picture of DS with Santa Goofy, and were wondering if that was possible to do that weekend.

we'll be there December 17-24th. It's a surprise trip for my DD's. I was thinking how I could get one more free trip in before my 2 year old turns 3 (any excuse will do for me). Well after looking at the Xmas break school schedule for 05' (I'm a kindergarten teacher), I thought I could get in a trip before Christmas. So we are going to surprise my DD's. We'll just drive to the airport on Saturday instead of going to dance class . They'll be so excited. DH can only stay 3 days, but he'll leave to go back right after DD2's 3rd birthday on the 19th. I'm almost looking forward to this trip more than the one I have planned in August.

Oh, and I just booked our 7 night stay at Pop Century for $476 w/AAA discount.

I just made our reservations at the Poly for 12/4-12/9. This is my husband's first trip, he has always refused to go before. He has always been confused about my addiction to WDW, so I'm hoping he will enjoy Disney as much as I always have.

Nine of us are making the trip from December 3 through the 11. We're renting a pool home in Orange Tree resort. I don't have airfare yet as the rates here haven't gone down.

Cheesehead -- we did go to AK, but not until later in the trip -- the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, I believe. And if I remember correctly, folks were saying that that was the first day that the Jammin' Jungle parade was "converted" to the holiday version, so I think you may be right about the holiday happenings beginning later at AK. Santa Goofy was in that parade. Unfortunately, I can't speak for whether visits with him or any other Christmas-related things began at AK before that day... sorry!

I'm going to AKL from Dec 3-9....YEAH!!!! I didn't know about this POP Warner group, but I'm sure everything will be okay. I can't wait!!!!

I've been counting down the days already! I'm going Dec 10-16 and staying at WL. We've gone this week two years ago and the parks were very empty. Also we love going to all of the other resorts at night to look at their Christmas Decorations because the parks close early. GF has a full size real gingerbread house and I think it's the Yacht Club Resort that has a carousel made completely out of sugar. We just take a bus to TTC and ride the resort monorail and get off at each of the resorts to check out the decorations. I can't WAIT to go!!!!

We are going from December 21st - January 2nd and are staying at the Beach Club Villas. We haven't booked yet as we have to wait until the 2nd February for the 11 month window for DVC points.

We (all ten of us) will be at the BCV Nov. 30 - Dec. 7th. I'm booked at the Beach Club right now and will switch to Villas when they are available. Already have our airfare too (using frequent flyers). If I could think of anything else to do beside plot, plan and save right now it would also be done (I'm just a little bit excited).

I am! Right now, I am doing a solo trip Dec 10-14, staying at Pop Century. however, if Pop Warner ends up being 12/11-17, I will probably change my dates to 12/3-7 instead.

Our first trip with Grandma and Grandpa. We... uhm, I, am so excited. I can't stop thinking about it!

We're going to go to MVMCP again this year, but grams and gramps are going to watch the little ones, who all 3 fell asleep last time, and let us "big" kids have some late night fun!

We're staying at Saratoga again, but I am going to try for the VWL.

Does December 1 count? That's the last day of my solo trip. I'm so excited-6 days with DH and DMIL, then 6 days solo. I've never been on a WDW trip that long-12 nights!

We're planning on a few days at CBR before my husband's conf at Gaylord Palms. In orlando from 11/30-12/11 but only planning 4 days at the parks. Rest of the time it will be R&R at Gaylord Palms, and 2 days of R&R at our Disney resort so we can be sure to see all the decorations at some of the other hotels and Downtown.

Has anyone been to Gaylord Palms?? Would love to hear from you. Thanks!

Count us in. We are taking my mom and dad (50th wedding anniversary) and both of my brothers, December 17-23 in a Grand Villa at OKW. Got the final dates for our stay today. YEAHHHHH! This will be a nice in between visit before we cruise and do WDW next May/June. Now I need to figure out how to add another counter to my signature to reflect both of the trips.

Will be staying at AKL Dec 6-11 with my DW, DD, DS and three other family members and 4 friends. We are also planning a trip to visit and stay with relatives end of Feb. Purchased 10 day MYW passes to cover both trips.
Made ressie already for Dec and purchased the dining package all thru AAA.

We'll be there around the 3rd throug the 8th for MVMCP. Not sure where to stay yet. Can't make up my mind. Might split the trip. Can't wait to see theworld all dressed up for Christmas.
