I'll be there 12/10-12/18!! Staying at SSR and taking my DBF, DB, DSIL, DN, DN, DN and DSILM. DB is a true Disney freak so I can't wait for him to experience the World for the first time! :

I've been waiting to ask this, but I can't stand the wait any more. Who is going in December 2005?

Where are you staying? Do you have reservations yet? When are you going to be there? Any special plans?

We're (my DH and DD age 11) going to be there Dec 3rd to Dec 11th. We're staying at the CR, Tower Club. I made reservations already. It's still not real yet, because I have SO MUCH more money to save!!

We're going 11-27 thru 12-4 (me, H, DS 14 DD turning 8 on trip), staying at CS 3 nights/Poly 4 nights. Just got my quote today but had a few questions so will book it as soon as I hear back. I'm going to make this a very special b-day for dd, still working on that plan.

We will be there from 12/16-12/23. One night at the POP and the rest of the time at the Poly.. Using an AAA code right now waiting for AP codes...

- the only thing I'm concerned about is that this is a week earlier than we normally go in December and I've heard the Pop Warner people will be there that week.

People have had mixed posts on this - I know you will always encounter rude people at Disney, I am just hoping it's not so bad that it takes away some of the magic!

Sorry if this is a dumb question...what the heck is Pop Warner and what does it's (their?) presence potentially mean for our trip? (Thanksgiving to Dec 3rd)

The POP Warner is the little kids youth football ....... Kindof the "little League" of football...............they have their national championships in December for both the football and the cheerleading, at Wide World of Sports..........so there are lots of peppy pre teen/teen girls and the same age boys........They are there for the first full week of December every year, so it does not affect your trip..........They have their own website which I've checked, since we will be in WDW for Dec 4th through the 15th........The PW kids will be there from the 4th through the 11th, from what I've read.........

I did have some concern about all the kids, since we try to plan our trips around the slow/relaxing times of the year at WDW....but from my research on the DIS and elsewhere, I get the impression that the situation is not real bothersome unless you stay in the same resorts as the PW groups.............Which apparently are the AllStar Resorts, with some potential overflow into the Coronado Springs resorts..........

Anyways that's my take on what I've researched........and back to the original thoughts on the thread.........Our Fam will be there from 12/4 through 12/15..........Its been a long wait, but getting closer every day.......

If I am not mistaken the over flow goes into Port Orleans....I think Coronado is your best bet at avoiding in the Moderates....That being said we stayed at the Movies this past Dec 3rd thru 12th and did not see any Pop kids....the year before we stayed at the Sports and they were there but not out of control...We are planning the WL this year but not to avoid them nut just because I have always wanted to stay there

ME!!!! We will be there from 11/30-12/4. We may actually get there 1 or 2 days sooner, but the reat of the family will arrive on 11/30. There will be 14 of there to celebrate Mom's 60th birthday!! We are planning on staying at PO-FQ, but no reservations have been made yet. Trying to figure out what's the simplest way to book 5 rooms for families coming from different directions!!! We'll figure it out soon and get our reservations made. We can't wait to get there!!!!!

DH and I will be there 11/29 - 12/06 (4 nites BWI, 3 nites AKL). Already booked. Will work on airfare later. This will be our first solo trip - celebrating 25th anniversary. We've been twice wk before Christmas and twice Christmas week. Hoping for smaller crowds than previous Christmas trips! We've never been to MVMCP - looking forward to that!
