When do you actually pay? Do you pay an attendant at LAX? Do you pay the driver when you get on? Do you pay the driver when you get off? I'd just like to be prepared in advance...thanks!

U can pay in advance at getawaytoday.com at a discounted price.

We're paying cash with the $5 off coupon. Just want to know who we give the cash and coupon to and if I need to stop at a kiosk or something.

I usually buy in advance directly from their website.

Do you have to show the ticket to somebody before you get on the bus---is there an attendant at the bus stop or do you just give it to the driver when you get on the bus or do you give it when you get off?

We did this last summer. We flew into SNA and where the bus picks you up outside(out on the curb),there is a little kiosk, shelter type place where there is an attendant who will ask you where you are going and you can pay them at this time. On the return ride, we were picked up at our hotel, then went to the Disneyland hotel to switch buses,at this time an attendant came around and we paid then. On return rides, the Disneyland Hotel is the meeting place for a few buses that run to different airports, there you will switch buses depending on which airport you are going to.:)

Thank you. We will be arriving at LAX. I wonder if the policy is the same there.

Actually, I seem to remember our first trip (Nov.2010) now that I am thinking of it ::yes::
We flew into LAX but we had vouchers that time. But if I remember correctly, we went to the Disneyland Hotel first. When we arrived there, the bus driver collected all monies then. I remember handing him my voucher then, not when we got on the bus. After the Disney hotel patrons got off and everyone paid, we moved on to the good neighbour hotels for drop off. Its really easy, and the drivers are very helpful if you have any questions!:goodvibes I like to go knowing exactly what I have to do as well and on our first trip we didn't and I felt a little nervous!

That would be great if the driver collected at the end. We are going to be really close time-wise for catching the bus and if I don't have to be searching around for someone to pay, that would make life a lot easier.

We paid the driver when we got off the bus. We gave him our coupon and paid by Visa.He gave us our ticket for our return trip.

When I took Disneyland Express from LAX last year for a solo trip, I boarded the bus, then when it got to the DLH someone other than the bus driver got on and collected payments from everybody. I bought a round trip at that point with my Mousesavers coupon and when I headed back from the DLH to the airport I just handed them my voucher for the return.

I debarked at the DLH since my hotel was at LAX and I wasn't staying near DLR so it was my only stop.

Going from LAX and paying cash, we paid when we stopped at DLH. They tend to stop there, and some people stay on that bus and others (depending on their hotel) switch to another bus, and before anyone departs, they take care of the payments there.

damo, since you say time will be tight, remember that there's a different time for each stop at LAX depending what terminal you're in. So if you are at terminal 1, that's their very first stop in the airport. If you're at terminal 6, that's either the last or almost the last, and if you're going by the time of the FIRST stop at LAX, you'll have more time.

Alas, we tend to land at LAX during the time of morning when they only come once an hour, and we always get there just too late for that hour's bus, and end up walking very slowly to get our bags, visit the restroom, then we walk up to terminal 1 to be the first on board. Gotta find things to do if you have to catch the next hour's bus! (and I've never once seen a celebrity, nor have I seen paparazzi, which is tremendously disappointing to a TMZ reader like me, LOL)

I saw Ian Somerhalder from the Vampire Diaries at LAX in Feb. :faint:

OP, I have also taken the DLE and you pay when you get to DLH. Or if you have vouchers (as I did) you give them the LAX to Anahiem voucher and keep the Anahiem to LAX for your return trip.

We arrive at Terminal 2. If we miss it can we cross over to the other side and pick it up at Terminal 5? I wonder how much extra time that will give us.

Hi Where do you get the $5 vouchers ?

In the pdf brochure, it says "Pick-ups begin on the hour and the 1/2 hour starting at Terminal #1. Please allow approximately 3-5 minutes for pick-ups between each terminal."

While looking at the LAX site I find that they say it will take that same amount of time to walk between each terminal. I don't know who is being optimistic there. :)

Here's what's weird...we've done that at LAX a few times now, and I never once realized that we were going around a bend like the map shows. I thought it was just one big line except for the international terminal. Guess I have not been paying much attention! :headache:
