Can't see reservation in "My Plans" on app

I have a trip booked for next October. I can see it on my laptop, but not on the app on either my phone or my tablet. I tried signing out/back in and uninstalling/re-installing on both devices. I also tried manually linking the package and it tells me it's already linked.

Any tips/tricks? Am I going to have to call Disney? Can they even help me? Obviously, I have a very long time to get this fixed, but it does need to be fixed eventually. I'm not optimistic that it will magically appear one day.
 
Did you recently book it? Sometimes for me things are wonky until a day goes by after I book.

Otherwise, sounds like a fun call to Disney IT is in order. Been there/done that!

Answering the above questions...

I booked it within days of the 2018 packages being released, so a few weeks ago.

Good sanity check, but I only have 1 account, so no problem there.

It has never appeared in the app on either device.

I have a trip booked for November 2018, I booked it about 3 weeks ago, and it doesn't show up on the app either. I tried linking it with the confirmation on the website, but it says it's already linked and still won't show up though.

Reservations made for more that a year in the future will not show up on the app until the check in date is <= 365 from "today".

That's just the way the app has been programmed. So when you hit exactly one year from your check in date, it'll magically appear in your app.

I've never planned so far in advance, and probably wouldn't but good info to put in the old memory bank.
Honestly, as long as the website showed my trip I'd not worry about it, I'd know everything was there. I don't tend to use the app much

Did not know this. I've never booked over a year out before this time.

I only know this because I have a friend who booked a trip 370 out. Same scenario as OP. Showed on-line, but not in the app. He called and IT gave him the details of how it works and assured him it would, in his case, show up in 5 days. Like clockwork (pun intended) , it appeared at 12:00:01am 5 days later.

My plans used to show up in the app but don't after the latest app update. I'm going to let it be for a bit and wait till the bugs get shaken out and take a look again (then again, my favorite ways to fix a tech issue are: swear at it, hit it, turn it off and on again.)

I wasn't "worried," per se, but I use the app to do ADRs and FPs (my laptop is kind of a dinosaur and is sooooo slow). Plus I use it in the parks for 4th fastpasses. So in my scenario, I wanted it to work correctly.

I don't normally plan so far in advance, but we know we want to go the week leading up to DS's 3rd birthday and knew already where we wanted to stay. Seems like October discounts are few and far between, so I figured why not book if we already know what we want? If something comes up between now and next September, we'll cancel. No harm, no foul.
