I think this is correct. In May, we booked a trip for April 2013, and requested to be near the lobby, and it was fine.
We decided to go from a one bedroom to a two bedroom last week, and when we called to change the reservation, I requested to be near the lobby, and was told that they do not take that request, but they could request that I be near the elevator.
Perhaps I should request the first bead?
