cant remember check in ?

we are doing land sea again but are coming in a day early with magical expres so do we do all our stuff when we get to the resort? the next day at the cruise counter? then when we get to port do we stand in line at desk again? thanks

I checked in at the main desk at the hotel that everyone checks in for a room and that was it....didn't have to check in anyplace else at all, never checked in at any cruise counter.

Huckster, what do you mean by a day early? Do you mean that you are coming in 1 day before the cruise or that you have scheduled an extra day before a land /sea vacation?

The reason I ask is that if you have arranged a stay at a resort on your own before the cruise, they will not be able to check you in as the previous poster mentioned.

If you have an actual land/sea scheduled and are staying at the same resort the extra day before the land portion, they will probably be able to accomodate you. However, since the extra day would not be linked to the land/sea portion, you may want to check to see if you will be in the same room.

We did the land/sea and the check in was a breeze. We never even showed our bc's. They will collect your documents when you board the bus to the port. You may have to fill out a survey form about illness (flu) once you get to the terminal, unless they now provide this ahead of time.

yes we have the 4day land 3 day sea but are going in one day early to the same resort room only. i know i have recheck in the next morning for the package. is this where i do the doc part at the resort? hope this info helps .

I would call to see if it will be necessary to check in twice, my guess is yes.

Whenever that may be, this is where you will check in and your room key is also your KTTW card for the cruise. You do not turn your docs in here, they will take them on the bus to the port. Then, you basically get off the bus, go through security, up the steps and that's it!!!!

When we did it, once up the steps after security, we walked right through the terminal through the Mickey ears and onto the ship. At this time (1pm) there was no line to get on the ship. If you are not too much in a hurry, take a look around the terminal is pretty cool.

I guess things have changed. I went in 2000 and did a land/sea. We did 2 extra days on land and only checked in once. Checked in at the hotel, at the desk, showed b/c and all docs. They checked them and gave us our kttw. Never had to check in again anywhere.

It was all under 1 reservation. I'm doing the same this time too.

mine are 2 different reas, 1 for first night resort only then package starts next day any one know how i recheck in to get documents? thanks

We are doing the land sea in Sept ( it was cheaper as a package at the time I booked). Then Disney offered the free dining option which I really really wanted but found out if I cancelled the land sea and booked separately I would loose my 600$ worth of deposits . I was not a happy camper . Next time I will do it different. We are also checking into the BC 1 day early and using old park hopper passes for the 1st day. We want to be inthe MK early on the 2nd day but through these threads found out we will need to visit the DCL desk to get our passes for the parks . Any ideas what time the DCL desk is open? Thanks
