Cant register!

I am trying to create an account on VMK for my son, since he loves playing so much (always with me there, of course). At first I managed to log in with one of my old accounts, but then i got an "error.50" message and I couldnt get further. I can log in, but all I get is a blank black page.
So then I figured I;d just create a new account for him, but every (valid) e-mail address I input it says "that member name is invalid"
What am I doing wrong???

I think its trying to tell you that the Member Name is already taken by someone else. ​

yeah, but it wants your e-mail address... i wont let me input the e-mail address I created for my son, saying "that MEMBER NAME is invalid"

It's basically telling you that the email address that you're using is already in use. Have you got a number of vmk accounts on various email addresses? It might be worth making a completely new email address, or deleting one of your characters.

EDIT: Just re-read your post again... it's definately to do with your email address... has the address registered properly? I know it sounds stupid but I'm guessing you checked that you put your email address in right?!!

Also: some times they ask you for "member name" some times "email" this has to do with the age you input when you register. I think born in 1999 and above you use a member name. So check to see what they asked for.

OK< i just put in my husband's birthday, and it processed fine. It could be because my son was born after '99. *shrugs* whatever, its working now. thanks!!

thats weird. i put in the date 1995. my true year just today to make a new character and it still asked me for a EMAIL.
