Anyone else having this problem? Of course if you are, you can't open this to respond, lol!!!

Try deleting your Disboard cookies from your browser history. That usually fixes it for me. :)

Nope. However sometimes I have the delayed typing issue. I have to shut down my computer for a reboot. In fact it is pretty slow now. I don't type that fast however it is not keeping up with me all the time.

When I have that issue I simply log out of my account and then log back in. That deletes the cookies for you.

Well, I just got back on. It keeps telling me the server is busy. I am NOT banned, thank you very much, and I have worked very hard to keep it that way, lol! Seriously!! :)

Is it that 503 server is busy error?

I got that so often in IE that I had to switch browsers. No amount of cookie/cache/history clearing would fix it. Now I use Chrome for the DIS, and IE for everything else.

Go in and delete the Disboard cookies, you have to look through and manually remove them. Hopefully that helps. I had it happen a few weeks ago and tossing the cookies made it go away.

The slow typing problem may be a result of the Disney ads that are apparently at the bottom of the page? I have Adblock so I don't see them but others have mentioned that they are problematic.

Shortbun, you are on everyone's Ignore List. :p

Do you go in and clear them manually? You have to do it that way in order to get them all.:)

That's the one! How do you switch browsers? I've never had anything but Internet Explorer.

I finally made the switch to Firefox and love it--especially the Adblock add in. I think I just searched Google for Mozilla Firefox, found it and downloaded it. Then you use it just like IE. I don't know anything about Chrome.

But I do still get the 503 error occasionally with Firefox. But a clean of the cookies (which usually needs to be done anyway at that point) and it is quickly solved.

You have to download them.

I use Firefox. It's only 28MB compared to I.E.'s (something like) 350MB. It's very sleek and takes only 2 minutes to install. :thumbsup2 I love it because it has an automatic spell check, and I can magnify any/all web pages to any size I want. This is great when I need larger fonts, or want to enlarge a picture. Also, I've noticed that blog pages always appear too small. There is too much margin space on each side of the page. So I enlarge the page to fit my screen and everything is nice and large.

My only regret is that I waited so long. People had been saying for years to download Firefox. But, I thought it was going to slow down my computer. NO, I.E. is S.L.O.W. :badpc: In fact, I still have I.E. 6 on my computer. I never upgraded to I.E. 8 as I haven't used it.

Firefox:

When you install it, it will ask you if you want to import your I.E. bookmarks. Check Yes. Also set it as your default browser. (You can always change it back to I.E. or change it to Chrome, if you prefer.)

I haven't downloaded Chrome as Firefox works well for me and I haven't needed it. Chrome is by the Google company. :thumbsup2

These links are for Windows XP or higher. If you need Win ME or below, let me know, I'll look for the versions that will work for them for you. :)

I use Lavasoft Ad Aware to delete my cookies when I get this error. Once I delete them I am good to go until the next time.

I usually get DH to delete cookies after every browsing session and it works for us.

You can set your browser to automatically do that. But, it means having to log in to your favorite forums and sites each time you open your browser.
