Can't make Dinner ADR at Mama Melrose???

Hi all, I called this morning to make my ADR's and I was told by cm that he couldn't find any times for Mama melrose on 10/15 for dinner...he thought it was strange. Does anyone know why???

is it perhaps too early for ADRs for oct? That's the only thing I can think of? Granted this is when I'm usually making them for the end of spetember...that is strange! Maybe you should call back and try another CM? That sometimes works for me! Good luck

If they don't have the park hours set yet, I believe sometimes they don't take reservations past a certain time so that they don't have people scheduled to dine in a park that winds up being closed. Once the hours are published, later times are opened up for ADRs. If October park hours are published, I can't explain it.

I had this problem when we made our ADR's for our September 1 - 9 trip. We could not get Mama Melrose for the time I wanted...they said to check back. Turns out it was the Night of Joy and park hours had not been firmed up. I changed to a different day because I don't want to be at the Studios during Night of Joy and had no problem making the ADR for Mama on the different date. It could be something is going on October 15 at DHS and they haven't firmed up time yet.

Are you at your 180 day mark? I am arriving on 10/18 and cannot make ADRS until 4/21...so you should be at 4/18 right?

It could be that there is some kind of convention or other group dining there. We had that happen this past week at Coral Reef. We could get no time at all and happened to be waiting at Nemo for some friends when we saw a large group all dressed up heading into CR. We looked at each other as if to say... so that's why we can't have our blackened catfish tonight

Thanks for all the replies, We were at 180+10 today, we were able to get everything, even crt but Mama Melrose. If we can't go I guess we'll be a little disappointed. I'll try again in a day or two. What is Night of Joy?

When did Night of Joy move from the Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios? Just curious.

OP - I'm not sure why you are having trouble but all of Hollywood Studios is, or at least used to be last year, notorious for not opening later ADRs until closer to the time of a trip.
