I was out of town over the weekend and couldn't wait to log on and see what you all had to say about Cincinnati ideas!
My DH and son are huge baseball fans, so we will definitely be going to a game. smitch425 and bmderd2 - Thanks for sharing the information about the cheap food and half-price ticket offers! I would never had guessed there would be cheap food options inside the ball park and ticket option!

My DD is really into animals - she spits out all sorts of scientific facts about animals all the time, so the zoo will be our option there! I will skip the aquarium this trip since it sounds like it might be a letdown for her after Shedd. I am so glad, I asked for your input and ideas!

Right now, I am still debating going to Kings Island or Holiday World. Most likely, we will go ahead and go to Kings Island since it will be a long while before we get to Cincinnati. Thanks for all the great insight from jake09, Familyof4lovesDW, kymom99, elaine-amj, mrsklamc, NeeadaVacation03 and Jenny-momof3- I am VERY thankful for the tip to buy the tickets ahead of time online or at Kroger for the discount!
I have heard so many great things about Holiday World from lots of people. It is in Indiana and closer to us since we live in Central Illinois. For now, we will save it for another time when we could possibly go with some of my family or my husband's family.
