Can't get ressie for LeCellier

I was speaking to one of the managers of Le Cellier on Monday and was talking about how hard it is to get a reservation. It is a very small restaurant and the food is very good and the service is excellent. And it turns out I knew the manager, she was one of my managers when I was on my CP at the Brown Derby.

Keep trying, people sometimes cancel or try for lunch if you can fit it into your plans.

Keep trying!! We just got a 2:35pm ressie for less than 2 weeks away for 3 adults and 1 child. They DO open up occasionally. Super Stoked, even if it is an odd time!!

I'd just like to say...

I just booked a dinner for 2 at 7:25pm on NYE at Le Cellier!!! I am so excited that I must now post this in two other threads.

:thumbsup2 :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:  :thumbsup2

Way to rub salt in the OP's wounds.:laughing:

I too would dearly love a Le Cellier res for our upcoming trip, but I know I have a better chance of getting struck by lightening... twice... on my way to buy a winning Mega-Millions lotto ticket. :lmao:

Thankfully, DBF's second choice was Marrakesh (probably something to do with the bellydancers), which is very easy to book. :rolleyes1

LOL! I'll swap you my reservation for that megamillions ticket!

The food at Marrakesh is good (yummy shish-kabobs), but it does gets a bit loud. I'd like to try Tutto and Chefs de France as well.

Likewise, but DBF won't agree to try french cuisine with me, and he is saying "no" to Tutto because he is from the San Francisco Bay area, and can drive into the South Beach neighborhood (aka "Little Italy") for amazing Italian food anytime he wants. MEN! :lmao:

I would have agreed with him on Les Chefs until I looked at the menu. Try showing him the menu without the name of the restaurant and he may change his mind. I get his point on Tutto, but I can ALWAYS eat good Italian food no matter where I am so your "MEN!" comment is definitely appropriate!

Except, I am in that group too .... wait ..............

Definitely keep trying. Yesterday, I was able to get a 2:25 seating for the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This was after I had made my reservations at the 90 day mark at the end of August. I didn't expect to get any seating but one popped up quite to my surprise.

Dinner will be much harder to get than lunch. If you really want to experience the restaurant, try for a lunch seating.

And today I was able to get an 11:45 seating for the day after Thanksgiving. Just keep trying. I actually had to figure out which seating I wanted.

Because it is the only 1 TS credit steakhouse in WDW
Because it has a capacity as small as my basement and
Because it is pretty benign food located in World Showcase

That must've been a while ago. I remember Hollywood & Vine cafeteria style though..

To the OP - keep trying. I had tried booking at my 90 day mark back in June for my September trip and nothing was available. I checked back often with no luck. Then one day someone posted here on the boards that several reservations opened up and I was able to get a lunch reservation. It was probably sometime in early August that more reservations became available.

I too am trying to get a reservation for my December trip. I just booked it a couple of weeks ago and so far no luck. I won't be too terribly disappointed though as I did just eat there last Sunday. I will say that it was the best meal of our trip.

Hubby and I LOVE Le Cellier - we can't go to Epcot without eating there. That being said, a dinner ressie is very difficult to obtain so we always now go with the lunch. Menu is fairly close and we find it better to 'walk off' the heavy meal and have a snack later on. Works well for us!

We were there in Sept. and had the BEST waiter EVER! He sat down and chatted with us - even packed up some of our beloved pretzel bread to take back with us! Greatest servers ever in that restaurant! :goodvibes

Unlike that lucky poster, we could not get Le Cellier for NYE, although I didn't really expect to. We booked Nine Dragons instead, since we are of the minority but actually love Nine Dragons. I even set the alarm for 2:50am so I could book Nine Dragons on-line & I could've had my choice of times when I checked again at 4pm that afternoon.

Anyway, I did just call to book an afternoon tea for Jan 1st & the CM found an opening for Le Cellier for Jan 2nd at 2:45. I would've preferred dinner, but I'll take it!

I agree with other PPs to keep trying. We went in August & brought our laptop & checked for openings on-line & a lot of reservations would open within 24 hours due to cancellations. Good luck! :thumbsup2

I've gotten quite a few reservations after people cancelled them. Once we went to MK EMH and I called that afternoon around 11:30am and a 6:00pm (sharp, not even 6:05) reservation was available at Crystal Palace. Who'dve thunk it?

we got a rezzie at about 14 days before our trip. Oh yes, we did try and try beginning at 90 days.

Advice: call (not online) 2X/day until you get something!!!!!

Have the operator try different angles -- even if you get a lunch, it's a very nice lunch...

LeCellier wasn't open for us either any of the 6 days we had at either supper or lunch & it was tops on our list too. And we were on the phone early as possible to book.
So I tried online every single day several times each day for over a month & finally yesterday I got a lunchtime 12:20 on December 8th. It is possible as I finally found out...so keep trying. Now, I'll get to see for myself is it really as awesome as everybody says!
Good luck & don't give up if you really want it!
