Can't get a hold of my AAA TA!

We booked a GF Garden View room package with base Magic Your Way tickets back in September for 2/7/09-2/12/09 with AAA. I'm totally frustrated because I've been trying to get in contact with my TA for the last day and I haven't heard anything from her. I was originally going to try to extend our current reservation for 2 more days to fully take advantage of the 7 for 4 deal, but while waiting for my TA to respond, room discounts for the extra days have been used up according to Disney's website. Now I'm just hoping to apply the discount to our existing reservation and get 1 night free along with the gift card, but I'm afraid that the room discounts for our original dates will get used up before my TA gets back to me. Does anybody have experience with cancelling a AAA package? I'm not sure what, if any, fees are associated with cancelling (we have trip insurance through AAA on our current package, if that makes any difference). If I book a package with the discount though Disney's website, is there a way to transfer that reservation over to my AAA TA at a later point? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

The cancellation penalties for my AAA package were the same as Disney's. No fee more than 45 days out, $100 44-6 days out, and $200 less than 6 days plus any applicable hotel fees.

I don't think there is harm in booking a package if you can't get in touch with your TA. You can always cancel either one assuming you are within the no-penalty time frame.

The possible savings are so great I wouldn't wait. At least check the WDW website to see if anything is available that you would want, and how much it would be.

TriDelt, I would keep trying AAA and ask for a supervisor etc. I changed my ressie after my original reservation. Took only a few hours. Just have you conf. page with Conf. # handy. Good Luck
