.............What is the drinking age on the cruise ship?

Here's a question regarding the drinking age: I know that it's 21 on the ship. At home in the US stores and bars are required to "card" anyone that looks to be under 25yo. Does DCL "card" younger looking adults (or older teenagers) to be sure that they are "of drinking age"?

I know the KTTW card for anyone over 21 says ADULT on the card. I'm not sure what it would have on it for the 18 - 20 year old group, since they are allowed into the Adult areas of the ship.

U.S. law -- specifically the National Minimum Drinking Age Act of 1984 -- requires "all states to raise their minimum drinking age to 21 within two years or lose a portion of their federal-aid highway funds."Originally posted by KYCruiseCrazy

By the way, unless something has changed in past year, restaurants in Wisconsin are allowed to serve alcohol to children, as long as they're accompanied by their parents.

Yes, I'm serious. I was in a German restaurant in Milwaukee with my two "tween" kids. I ordered a beer, and I jokingly suggested they would want beer too. The waitress said she serve them! (My kids ordered milk.)Originally posted by CRSNDSNY
Are you serious?
