I am so frustrated right now. I just finished my taxes w/ turbo tax. They say you cannot e-file right now. This is because NYS has to finalize things on their return before I can go ahead and do this. They expect it to be ready by early February. I cannot believe this. So, now I could not find an option to let me just send the federal in. So, I guess I'm stuck waiting to file both until good old NY state can get their act together. This should of been dealt w/ and taken care of prior to tax season. Maybe they shouldn't of taken their nice holiday session's off if they didn't have their work done.
I was really hoping to efile so I could use some of the money for our President's Day week trip. I was hoping to extend the trip to a whole week rather than 4 days. But I would of needed some of the return money to do that. Off my rant now.
