how many miles will it cost round trip per person to go from Tulsa to orlando??

this may be the savings option we have been looking for but for the life of me can i figure it out

say we fly southwest.

we are going next jan for 7 days but just pick a date so i have an idea at what im looking at

Put in the aitports and dates you want to fly. When the available flights come up, there should be a button in the upper right that will convert the flights from $ to points. Good luck and hope that helps!

Plugging in some October dates for Tulsa to MCO, it comes to 12,720 points or $230 or so each way.

You can't just pick a random date and know what SWA will charge for your Jan. trip. The Rapid Rewards program bases their awards on a points-per-dollar basis. When fuel prices rise, ticket prices go up. Prices also go up for holidays and other periods of busy air travel. There is no way to predict what you will pay in the way of RR points for any trip that is outside of their current booking window.

Now, other airlines will charge a set amount for a RT award ticket. It is usually outlined in their agreement with you. You can usually check the program's details by going to the airline's website and clicking around. Once in a while an airline will offer reduced award tickets in an effort to encourage members to use up their miles but it isn't very often and it doesn't apply to heavy travel dates.
