Can't Even Open My Own Thread

What's up with that?

I have a thread going "A Discussion for Those Over 40." I want to open it and read the second page, but it gets "stuck". Other people can apparently open it and respond. I can't even read past the third post on the second page. This happens to me occasionally and is really annoying. I wonder what causes this? I'm opening other threads just fine.

I always thought it was to many hits on the thread at that moment.
I replied to your thread on the first page & when I tried to submit it the boards went down.

Well, the thread doesn't seem that busy. I always thought it was due to maybe someone have a signature that was too big and then my thread wouldn't load for me, but who knows.

Whenever it happens, it seems to go on for a few hours, then stops later.

Have you tried posting your question on the tech support board? They have been very helpful to me with various questions I've had. Let them know if you are getting an error message.

No error message, it just kind of hangs up and the page won't load. I've had this happen before with other threads. It eventually corrects itself. It's just maddening when you want to join into your own thread and discuss something.

I don't think there is anyone with a signature that is too big left. Warnings have been issued to many posters in the last few day. Could it be your DSL connection?

I am work with a huge T1 something or other.

Funny thing is, I can access page 1 and page 3 of the thread, it is page 2 that gets hung up.

Did that guy who post all the wierd pictures post on page 2? I think he is someones else using another name for the wierd stuff. I have to go to work now. TTYL.
