Just got off phone with CM who said if I split stay between Poly and CSR, I would have to book two magic your way packages (one for each resort) so that would mean getting one 4-day ticket pass for Poly and another 4-day ticket pass for CSR (which would cost DOUBLE :earseek: the price of an 8 day pass). Can this be right? (Sorry if this has been discussed before)

I've been looking at doing a package with a split stay and yes it's much more expensive because the park tickets get cheaper the more days you have. You could do the package for one part of the stay then a room only for the rest. I decided just to stay in one place.

you will have to get a 7day ticket or 8day in the first stay and then atleast a one ticket for the other res to get the dining plan.

There are some advantages to doing a split stay. If you get two packages, get an 8 day pass for the current stay in the first package then a one day ticket for your second. Save the one day for a future trip. Or, do the package for the first part of your trip with the dining plan and get an 8 day pass in you package. Then do a room only for the second half. We did this because I booked two room only's with AAA discount at POR and AKL (10 days). Standard rooms for both. When the discount came out, I could get POR standard but not AKL standard so I just hung on to the second room only and I think it will work out well. Just thinking about how much I'll eat in those first five days is aleady making me feel stuffed. It will be nice to slow it down toward the end of trip. Also we will have an extra day to use the meals since the plan is good on your check out day. We won't be going home that day, we will still be on property. And finally, we can redeem any leftover snacks and save those in the room to eat the rest of the week.

I wondered how this would work. I think if I get any kind of package discount I will just stay in one resort. DH and kids don't know about the nights at AKL anyway, so it would only be me who would be dissapointed. Or maybe it will be good enough that I'll just stay at AKL. However DS 9 is totally psyched to go to POP, so we'll see.
