Can't decide

We are planning a trip for next year probably April or May so we have plenty of time. The problem is we cannot decide where we want to stay--we love the look of the Poly and the access of the monorail yet we're not sure how much time we will really be in the room. Help me decide is it worth all the $$ to stay there or is there a better moderate out there?

I would research the Dolphin & Swan and use the money saved for something else.
Poly is great and beautiful and all, but it's very pricey.

We have stayed at the Poly a number of times and it is truly a lovely resort. We have also stayed at the Coronado Springs (moderate) six times and soon to be seven. My husband offered me the Poly as we are celebrating our 25th anniversary. However, I chose the Coronado as it has become our favorite mod and with two boys in college we just can't justify the cost of the deluxe anymore (not that we ever could).

You need to do what is best for you and your family (you don't mention children and if so how old). The monorail is a terrific asset with young ones.

OP - who are you travelling with? If you supply a bit more info on your group and what parks you plan to attend, if you are park commandos or just like to take WDW slow, this will help us all in providing better info for you.
