Can't decide which resort...should we split stay?

I can't decide between the Poly and the BC. I love the idea of the monorail and being close to MK. But I also like the thought of being able to walk to both Epcot and HS, not to mention the Boardwalk area.

Should I consider a split stay? We will be there for 8 nights. A split stay sort of sounds like it could be a pain. Or is it worth it to experience 2 areas and 2 resorts?

Both resorts you are interested in are incredible, so I don't think you would be disappointed at either. I think with 8 nights, it wouldn't be too much of a pain, as long as you know the day you move you would probably be better off going to a park and then going to your second resort. Disney can transport your luggage. If you will have a car on property, moving luggage will be easier since you can bring it directly with you.

Hmmm...no car. I'm leaning towards the BC because our DD will love SAB and the area seems most interesting to me. Maybe I'll book whichever one is less expensive and leave it to fate when our dates become available!

I don't think I'll like dealing with a split stay...I like settling in as soon as we get to a hotel. My DH and DD know to leave me alone the first hour while I unpack everything. I'm just not happy until everything is unpacked and in place!
