Cant decide on what order to visit parks??

hi all we are taking our first Disney Trip during Christmas Week and we still dont know in what order to visit the parks since we are not doing the park hopper option. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do which day? Yes i know its christmas week and it will be really crowded but we are taking the shot! Thanks!

I suggest you visit easywdw.com and review the best days for each park for your dates.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing at that time of year is to be at the park of your choice at rope drop in the morning.

I second checking out the crowd calendars on easywdw.com - this will give you an idea of what days are best to visit which parks during the dates you'll be there. This is especially valuable information since Christmas Week is one of the most crowded times of the year. Good luck!

Usually, we open and close with the Magic Kingdom. Christmas week will have heavy crowds in all of the parks so focusing on crowd calendars is wise. You may have to go with the second recommended park in some cases to hit the parks that you want to cover.

I agree with Hopefully on using easywdw. We used Josh' recommendation (mostly) earlier this year and it worked well.

I'm one of those people who have to open and close with Magic Kingdom, regardless of what the crowd calendars say.

The rest is based on how many park days I have and what holidays/events fall over that week.

We always hit MK first. Just not DISNEY till you see the castle. But we also always have park hopper. Week of Christmas is going to be crazy if you don't have park hoppers. We were there the first week of December and the park hoppers saved us several time. One afternoon we decided to hit MK. We walked in to thousands of screaming kids. Miley Cyris had just finished filming her part of the Christmas parade. We didn't even make it down to the castle before we turned around and headed to EPCOT.
