Can't Decide on Resort!!!!11

We will stay for our first DVC stay in May, post DCL Dream cruise. I booked VWL for 2 nights but want something brighter I think. Want to make it a great resort. Help!!!!!!!!!

My family has enjoyed the cheery décor at SSR for our DVC visits in the past. We had a blast at AKL earlier this year, but the décor there is pretty dark.

All the DVC resorts are great. Some people like one over the other, but you won't know your favorite until you try them all. For brightness, I think OKW is good because it has such large windows in the livingroom as does BLT. People have mentioned that AKV is dark, but they have a great animals. I haven't noticed any others that I would say are dark.

Take a look at the rooms at Allears.net. That may help you make your decision.

After our cruise we stayed at BLT. What I liked the most was having the large bathroom! The ship's is sooo small!

Our first DVC was in December '03. We had booked a cruise out of Miami, so we were already going to Florida, but we recently had bought into DVC. Way back in '03, I was able to book a studio at VWL for a weekend in DECEMBER only 2 months ahead of the visit, and that was with no waitlist! So, we went with VWL for that first visit, and it's still our overall favorite resort!

BCV uses a lot of pastel colors and tends to be a very light and bright resort.
