we are planning on doing the delux dining plan for the first 4 nights of our trip in nov, mainly to do character lunch/breakfasts and signatures in the evening.

we have 12 credits each to use over 4 nights 5 days, at the minute we are planning

cape may breakfast
akerhaus breakfast
hollywood and vine lunch
ohana dinner

all 1 credits, then

yachtsman
flying fish
artiist point
citricos

its been so hard to decide as we basically all like different things, in particular husbands like meat and wifeys like fish. also my dh does not like spicy food and can be allergic to some indian food so although we are staying at AKL and jiko looks amazing to me, it just looks scary and yuck to him.
we have done artist point before and loved it, done narcooses and liked it but as we have children with us this time thought we would try pther places.

our first night howeever it means we will have to arrive and then get to nother hotel (without a car so using disney transport)
this is a pain, so im thinking should we just try jiko? if we did what would you get rid of? we really cant decide.

thanks for advice!

I am really not into spicy food or indian food and Jiko is one of my favourite restaurants. I have to say I wasn't a big fan of Boma dinner (although Boma breakfast is our favourite breakfast at WDW). The chefs at Jiko are fabulous so if your DH talked to them about his allergies and dislikes I am sure they will help him with something that he will like.

I am not sure what you should get rid of if you do end up going to Jiko. We love Yachtmans too so my vote is to keep that one :goodvibes

I don't think Jiko would be too much of an issue for DH. He could always play it safe and stick with the filet which gets great reviews. I would personally drop YS for Jiko in a heartbeat, especially if it means to cut down the traveling on arrival day. YS, IMO, is just a mediocre steakhouse with nothing real special to offer. Our top 4 signatures are Citricos, Flying Fish, Jiko and AP, so I think you made some good choices.

for Jiko - both for convenience and cuisine. A couple of the meat dishes are more straight forward. Disney is also very good at helping with allergies. You can note these on your ADRs.

I think Yachtsman is the weaker of the four restaurants. The problem may be that many other locations serve a fillet as the steak and some beef eaters prefer other cuts. They will have other meat choices though depending on how expansive is tastes are.

My mom hates spicy or indian food and yet she loved Jiko. I something doesn't seem to be up your dh alley, you can always asked them to substitut it.
