Man I've been kicking around what hotel to stay at as well. I currently have reservations at both the Anaheim Desert Inn with a Parlor Suite and the Best Western Anaheim Inn, for the last week of June.
I really like the extra space that the ADI has, but the reports of the beds being super uncomfortable are kind of worrying. Last thing I need after being in the park all day for 5 days is back pain when sleeping.
The BWAI hopefully has more comfortable beds, as well as a hot breakfast. Price is about $15 more a night, and that's entirely the new parking fee. The room though is definitely smaller from looking at it and that's a bit worrying for 4 of us for 6 nights. But with all day in the park hopefully it wouldn't really matter.
I was considering the Candy Cane Inn too, but with it being further, about the same size rooms and price, and a more continental breakfast I'm not sure it was worth picking over the Best Western.
I've spent so much time trying to figure this out, but with an 8 year old and a 5 year old I'm not sure I could get them to walk any further than right across Harbor after a whole day in the park.
Anyway, just to confirm, are the beds at BWAI comfortable? And by comfortable I mean somewhat soft and not like sleeping on a board.
