For the 9/8 British Isles cruise on the Magic, I can't decide between cabin 7a at 5268 for 2 adults or 9B at 4218. I know it will be port intensive, so even though I'd miss the verandah, I could put that money towards excursions.

I did a 12-night Med cruise on RCCL in an OV and was perfectly fine with that. Like you said, on a port intensive cruise, that money can be better spent elsewhere.
