I want to make one more trip to WDW in December before my AP expires in January, but can't seem to decide where to stay. It looks like that trip may be solo as my mother has changed her mind again and decided not to go. In January I did a split stay at WL and AKL. In May I did another split stay between POP, BWV, and POP. In Sept I'll be staying 7 nights at POP again.

I don't mind doing a split stay even though with the Best Rate Program it will cost me two (or three) nonrefundable deposits. I know I want to stay at the AKL, but can't decide between POFQ, CS, or All Star Music for the other ones. I had planned to stay 8 nights (12/09-12/17) and split 4 days at each resort. I was hesitating about POFQ and ASMusic, due to POP Warner week ending 12/10. I also considered adding another day to my vacation and doing all three levels of resorts (All Star Music three nights, a moderate three nights, and then AKL for the final three nights), just for fun. There would not be that much difference in price:

Value x4 nights and AKL x 4 nights= $842.04 (8 nights)
Mod x4 nights and AKL x4 nights= $994.60 (8 nights)
Value x3 nights, mod x3 nights, and AKL x3 nights= $943.32 (9 nights)

If I stayed three nights at each level I could add a day on and it would still be cheaper than 4 nights mod and 4 nights AKL. Which would you do and which resorts would you choose for a solo trip at that time of year?

6 nites mod & 3 nites akl. ::MickeyMo

If pop warner is at the value, I would totally stay out of there. But that is just me. Also our last trip we moved 4 times and it was nuts, this trip we are staying put. You lose to much time, packing, or digging through your bags. :hourglass Not to mention the move, and check in time. If you get the std rooms you might save some extra money, or save on your food $$ and pay for mod instead?

I will keep my fingers crossed for a good ap rate for you! Mky ::MinnieMo
