Can't Check in Alamo -

I am trying to check in on Alamo for my rental car but I am getting an error message and it wont let me go any further than the place where you put in your name and reservation number.

The error message is:
Could not validate coupon, continued without coupon

then it won't budge from the screen to even let you try to remove the coupon

I used the $25 off coupon - ad83z1sdl which was valid when I booked my reservation but tonight I was trying to book anything at MCO and it wasn't letting me use any coupon codes.

Any ideas of what I should do? Just go to the kiosk? I don't want to have to go to the counter.

I would try the kiosk as it only take about 10 minutes to rent from there. Maybe have another person from your party stand in the Alamo line in the off chance you aren't able to rent from the kiosk that way they will hold a place in line for you.
I got the same message when I tried to make a reservation so either they pulled the coupon or there is a system error.

I just tried again - it opened to the page where you could enter your drivers license and information and the price was without the coupon. But it still won't let me go any further. Can the main number - they gave me the number to Orlando - Orlando can't do anything on the weekends so I have to wait until Monday. Glad I tried doing this a few days in advance.

I also just got this message. I called and they claimed its because I did it through Costco and have to show my card when we get there. Who knows what the correct answer is

The coupon I was using was a Go Orlando coupon nothing that had a card tied to it - I guess I will worry about on Monday

Just got off the phone with Alamo - the problem they say is that the coupon has now expired even though it wasn't when I booked the car. But they took the coupon off ($30 off) and it let me check in online - they still honored the old rate. So I now have my 8 seat mini van for 287. for 8 days instead of the 415.00 that is listed on the Alamo website for next week. - I am happy. The number that I called to get them to remove the coupon was 877-222-9075

I just ran into the same problem. I may call in the morning to see if I can get it straightened out before my flight takes off.

I had this error message about the coupon when trying to check in on the website.

I did not check in online and instead went to a kiosk when I arrived at MCO. The kiosk accepted the coupon (free weekend day) without any issue - all was normal once I got to the kiosk. I was charged appropriately when I dropped off the car also.
