Can't change POP reservation in MDE?

So we have to change our travel dates. When I log into MDE and click "Change reservation", it tells me I have to call. How come I can't do this online?

How far out is it? I was trying to change my April 2018 Pop to POR and it was just refreshing the page earlier. I forget what the timeframe is, but if you are close to your travel dates you have to make changes over the phone (at least that was the case when we went in December).

I have never, ever been able to make a change online. I have always had to call. Though I know plenty of people who have been able to.

I've always had to call too, except if I just want to cancel a reservation that I made myself, on the website.

I've always had success modifying some parts of my reservation on MDE (hotel, tickets, dining). BUT, to modify dates it has always said I need to call. I think it's just one of those things you can't do online.

ugh...will they let me change the reservations for others in my party? They all used their own CC to hold with the deposit. 15 minutes on hold long distance. Blows my mind they don't have toll-free numbers.

I've not had the "change reservation" link for bookings that were bounce backs, travel agency reservations or booked through 3rd party websites (like Orbitz), but have been able to make changes to reservations that I booked directly with Disney.

I booked directly on wdw site.

All changed now, 20 minutes later!
