I just tried to book a resort online and there is no way to book anything in 2007. 2006 is the only click option. I know I've booked this early for our Jan vacation before. Anyone know anything????? :confused3

A lot of times you can call CRO and they'll have the rates already. At least that was my experience when I tried booking before the online rates were available.

What confused me, was they were on Expedia. Have you looked there? Maybe if they are, you'll have the same luck I had.

The website is notorious for being late with reservation services. You can call disney reservations and make either room only reservations or basic package reservations. Ticket prices and other packages won't be out till later next month.

You can call CRO and make a reservation for 2007, but you can't book online yet. There are no discounts, just rack rates. Hopefully, AAA discounts will come out in the near future and can be applied to an existing reservation.

I have reservations at BWI for January, 2007 at rack rate of $315 per night. I have high hopes that rate will come down in the next couple of months.

Thanks all! I didn't know the online bookings lagged. antmaril....why don't you rent DVC points for BWV? In January, at the going rate of about 10 per point, it would only cost you approx. $90-$120 per night for a studio, depending on the view you want.

You can call and book the basic package, but from what I was told packages with tickets and ddp and all wont be out till mid-end of september. Not sure what the hold up is the only explanation the Disney Travel company lady gave me was that they are listening to guests on what they want to see brought back/changed/dropped and are trying to make the packages perfect.

I'm not sure why I don't do that. I think it's because I don't totally understand how it works. Of course, I understand there is a level of trust involved and the whole thing just puts me off a bit. I know I could do it for less money, but I like having control :confused3

My brother-in-law and his wife are joining us for three nights on this trip and I just don't want it to get complicated.

Thanks for the suggestion though!
