She's a SAHM with a 2 year old, a 4 year old and a 6 year old. She has a full time nanny and a housekeeper, and she's complaining to my mother (who raised 7 kids with no help) about how hard she has it:rolleyes:

And what is so hard? She has a nanny to take care of the kids and a housekeeper to clean,so what does she do? Where is the hard part in that?

I'd love to know what she does all day. Nanny takes care of the kids, housekeeper does all the housework. Must be really tough for her

I would like to take the burden off her. She can take my place for a month and I will take hers. :)

Hey-give her a break! She has all these
people to manage!

You know it's so hard to get good help these days. I mean they are so lazy and don't want to work very hard. And the things she has to do. I mean the trips to the hairdresser to get her roots done every other week, not to mention the nail appointment. Then all the time she has to spend working out, I mean going to the gym is a full-time job.

The committees that she's on. They expect so much. You would think that they thought it was a full time job. Your SIL probably only gets to shop once or twice a week and then she has to shop for OTHER people, those ungrateful children grow and you just have to keep buying them things.

Oh and the traveling, it get so tedious sometimes. I mean getting ready for that safari to Africa is just so time-consuming. Not to mention all the entertaining that she has to do. A person in her position has to entertain all the time.

What are you thinking, her life is so busy and so important. She has a lot to complain about, it's what she does best.

(can you see that I might know people who resemble this)

Aww, we're just jealous. What I wouldn't do for a full-time housekeeper. No doubt that she wakes up and does something with her day.

I wish had the resources to be able to afford the help she has, then there would be no sleepless nights wondering how the bills are going to be paid, money for Christmas shopping and most important of all, money for my trip to Disney.

You mean some ppl's house actually gets cleaned?? Wow. wonder if I could get that to happen around here? I better start beating the housekeeper(me:teeth: ) Im telling dh today when he gets home I need a housekeeper and a nanny--heck make it 4 nannies. 1 for each kid!

Are we related?

My SIL was just complaining about the very same thing to me just recently. Her au pair went back to Italy, so now she has to find a new one. She doesn't work outside the home or inside the home as far as I can see. What she does, however, is spend an inordinate amount of time in the gym fine tuning her sculpted body. The woman is obsessed with her body, her most recent "acquisition" was her new boobs! :teeth: My brother got a bonus at work and they decided it would be best spent on making her a D cup. :teeth: :p

Ah, family, you gotta love 'em. :D :p
