DD7 was writing a poem about animals for homework. She just asked me how to spell "lice." I asked if she meant like the ones in you hair. She said she couldn't think of anything so her line was, "from the bugs in the air, to the lice in your hair, bugs are wonderful things." :rotfl2: I suggested we change the one part to "from the bugs in the air, to the butterfly on your hair" I thought that sounded much better!

I love the things kids think of. I laugh when I think of all the less than appropriate things they must write about when we arent overseeing their work. :rotfl:

Kids say the strangest things, when my DD was 3 she used run around the house singing Tina Turners "Whats love got to do with it"

Her Version:

Whats love cocka doo cocka Doo with it!
:rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Classic! Write that one down and save it!!! :thumbsup2

This is kinda-sorta on topic:

My 16 year old used to love horses when she was little. I mean, she absolutely adored them!

One day I was driving past a pasture that had several horses in it. Well, there was this one male horse and let's just say he showed her something she'd never seen before.

I was driving and she was in the back, passenger-side seat and I could see her out of the corner of my eye, twisting around in her booster seat, looking at it for as long as her little body would allow.

I never said a word about it. She was maybe five; I figured I'd leave that one for her dad.

Well... she's always been a very, very talented artist and from the time she could draw, she was drawing horses better than I could.

Sure enough, the next time she drew a horse, she drew her new and improved male horse, in all his glory. I still to this day, have that drawing with all of her school papers that I've kept over the years.

It is hilarious and quite realistic, if I say so myself! :lmao:
