For your WDW vacations, what gear do you have in your bag?

Tripod, wired shutter release and a few other things. I may add my 50 1.8 for the next trip. If I get the 6d some of that lens lineup will change.

24-105 f/4 L on the camera as my walk around. Sometimes a fast prime in my pocket. I bring a 70-200 along for AK and occasionally a fisheye for fun.

Going to add either the Sigma 30 1.4 or the Tamron 70-200 2.8 for my next trip.

Generally, I carry the EF-S 10-22 and 17-55. I started off mainly using the 17-55 but overtime switched to the 10-22 being my "always on" lens and the 17-55 being the "B" lens as I shifted towards more sweeping landscape photos.

I've got a 70-300 that I bring with me but I rarely carry it around with me and use it to take shots from the room (especially if you have a TPV!). Although I took it with me one night around Christmas to the parks and got some stunning shots of the castle and of main street (from the castle)

I usually bring more on the trip than I plan to take into the park on any given day. Then I pick which gear to take each day based on what I plan on shooting and how much I feel like carrying.

Some days may mean taking a flash and other days I leave it. Some days I might take a 17-40mm f/4.0 and a 70-200mm f/2.8. On another day, I might take a 24mm f/1.4, and 85mm f/1.2, and a 135mm f/2.0. I've taken everything from a 15mm Fisheye to a 300mm f/2.8 at various times.

Black Rapid Strap. Never leaves my side since I dropped my 7D with my 4 week old 24-70 2.8 last year!

I swap out lens as I need them from the room daily. I only ever have my 24-70 and one other lens with me and my flash with saucer while in the park.

Micro fiber towel for cleaning

What's this lens like? I've been curious to see how it works with the Canon and if it's a decent lens/range.

Edit: It's actually an f1.8 (not 1.4)

I've mainly used it for indoor family stuff. And only at Disney a little. But I'm loving it so far. And the fact that it can go wide makes it really good for those indoor family shots. I sold my Sigma 30mm to help pay for it; and don't regret it one bit. That 30mm had the infamous focusing issue; and it just got on my nerves (even after a "repair"). But the 18-35 has been pretty spot on so far.

As far as Disney is concerned; I'd like more zoom as far as being a true walk-around for me. But I like shooting more towards the wide angle anyway; so it's not much of an issue.

Awesome shot Scott! So glad to hear you like that Sigma lens. I have toyed with selling a lens or two myself to add it to my bag before our next Disney trip. I'll be watching to see other shots you post with it.
