DH and I decided I get a new camera for my birthday this year! So, i've been looking around a lot, reading what gets posted here, other websites, etc. I saw this one on Amazon and it has really good reviews, is in my price range, and seems like a good way to go.
I know NOTHING about photography, but hope to learn. I currently just have a FujiFilm Finepix...i don't even know which one it is, but it's hot pink. It takes decent pics and is the best camera i've had so far. But it's really hit and miss. I could take two pics back to back of the same thing and have them turn out differently. It especially sucks at night or in low lighting, no matter what setting i put it on. So, i'm ready to move up in the camera world.
I'm not ready for one of the really nice, super expensive ones yet because I just don't know enough. Maybe someday. For the time being, I need a camera to learn on that's better than what I have. I'm just wondering if this one (the Canon PowerShot SX120IS) is a good way to go?
