Yep. I have a Canon film EOS 3 and a Canon digital Rebel XTi and all of my lenses I bought for the Rebel work on the film camera I inherited. Which I was very very very happy about. =)
Canon eos lenses work but if it's a third party lens it may not work even if it was made for eos . some sigma used to be rechippable but not sure anyone does that still. in my case when i went to digital, one third party worked, one was rechipped and still didn't work well enough to warranty using it.
