Canon Powershot A470

We are getting 3 of these (Canon Powershot A470) for our children for Christmas. I got a pretty good deal on them at Circuit City. Does anyone have any reviews of these cameras?

I just bought one for my youngest DD for your 15th birthday. I have seen a few photos she has taken with it and they seem to be pretty clear. She hasn't said much about it - but she hasn't complained either - and THAT is the big thing.

So far - so good.

They are great cameras for beginners. I bought the previous model - the
a460 - and had great luck with it. My only complaint was that it went through AA batteries like crazy. I eventually upgraded to a model with image stabilization.
