CanI just pay for cheapest TS meal ?

Now that I've looked at my "plan" for TS meals..we're going Oct 4-10, 6 nights, my 2 dd & I, so we'll have 18 TS credits...well being the super ( ) mommy that I am, I booked (or will have booked I hope) 7 character meals: 1900 Park Faire (D), Cm's (D), Cindy's (B or L), CP (D), LTT (D), Epcot Princess (L), and Donalds in AK (B). There is a big proce difference between say Donalds and 1900. Can I just pay for any of the meals as we go along? I don't have to wait for the last one to be out of credits do I? I can use good old cash right? I wouldn't mind except our last meal is the most expensive.

Yes, you can pay your meal as you go, or use up all your credits in one day if you want.

The way I understand is you decide which meal you want to pay for and which you use credits for... you don't have to wait for the credits to be gone to start paying cash.

Thank you - I thought so, I just wanted to make sure, I don't wanna carry too much cash with me kwim?

Just be sure to let your server know if you plan to pay cash before the meal or if you are using credits.

Say you have 5 people per meal. you could pay $ for 4 and use credit for one, or the other way around. Or you could pay $ for everyone and save credits for another meal. your choice, but make it easy on your server and let them know what is what before you order.
