Candy Shoppe @ Marketplace

Just wanted to pass along that the Candy Shoppe (formerly part of Gourmet Pantry) reopened on the 4th of July. It is now a stand-alone location (new walls seperate it from the rest of the building.) Still has candy, fudge, and Drinks in cooler sections as well as Jelly-Bellies, character tins, etc, etc.
The Earl of Sandwich is still under construction next door.

cool, i was worried they were going to do away with the shop. disney chocolate and fudge are great. my dh just loves the white chocolate peanut butter cups.

I loved the Gourmet Pantry and was saddened to hear of it's demise. But now the good news it that there is still the candy counter!!! Yea, a good place to get stuff that is really vacation food.

They didn't happen to keep that ultra chocolately-fudgy cake in the remaining part, did they?

That was the best cake at WDW for chocoholics.

Thanks for sharing this. DS 11 will be happy to know that he can still get his fudge fix.

Candy Cauldron on the West Side also has assorted confections, including fudge.
