Candy Cane schedule

Okay, I am in a panic. My DD has anxiously been awaiting our trip to DL and standing in line for the Candy Canes. I have just read on another forum the dates, which the last date listed is Dec 21, the day we arrive!

Has anyone else heard of schedule for 2011? I am really hoping the info is wrong or she will be disappointed!

Last year they added a couple of days to the calendar, including the 24th.

The dates changed in2009 too. We got ours the 23rd.

Can you just watch them making the candy canes WITHOUT the voucher to buy a candy cane? DD is wondering, since we are very close to "Hammond's Candy" which makes all of the hard candy treats by hand and she loves those and really enjoys watching the process

So the question is, if we don't happen to get a voucher can we still watch at least a part of the cany cane making process?

Yes. There is a huge window, but people gather early to watch. There is also a candy making area at Pooh's Corner where you can watch them make whatever is being made that day there (they won't be doing Candy Canes there.) Generally, they are making Tigger Tails, caramel apples and the such there.
