1. Is there a "resort fee" in addition to the room rate?

2. Does their shuttle run after park hours? For example, if I stay in the parks until closing, will the shuttle still be available?

Thanks for your input.

I have never paid a resort fee at the Candy Cane. It has been a couple years though since I have stayed there. When we stayed the shuttle did come after the parks closed but we were at the stop shortly after closing. I don't know how many times they return to pick up people. It is only a 7 minute walk if you miss the shuttle.

Not sure about the resort fee, haven't stayed there recently. It doesn't say anything about a resort fee on their website.

You don't really need the shuttle it's an easy walk 7-10 minutes.

The Candy Cane is ok, but it is a motel. I highly recommend the Anaheim HoJo, it's about the same distance from the park and is nicer than the Candy Cane, IMO.

Check out the reviews for both on Tripadvisor, right now Hojo is rated #2 and Candy Cane is rated #4.

We just got back from a stay at Candy Cane Inn. There is no resort fee or parking fee. We enjoyed our first stay there. We did receive a newspaper everyday too!

The shuttle's last pick-up from DL was at 11:45 (the park closed at 11:00). The shuttle left Candy Cane Inn every 1/2 hour on the hour and picked up from DL every 15 and 45 after the hour.
