Candy Cane Inn or Hotel Menage?

Three families (including us) are heading to DL in July. We are in the midst of planning our itinerary and hotels.

We have always stayed at the Hyatt Orange. But this year, it's booked up with 3 conventions going on the same time we're going.

So we're considering the CCI or the Menage.

CCI's AAA rate is $102 (includes their breakfast and free parking)
Menage's lowest online rate is $112 (not sure if there's free parking)

CCI definitely comes out on top with its excellent value. If anyone can give me an insight as to which hotel is better, it would be much appreciated!

I've never stayed at the Menage but I have nothing but good to say about the CCI. We love to stay there and are totally satisfied with all aspects of the hotel and staff.

I vote for the Candy Cane. We stay there all the time. The breakfast is good and the exclusive shuttle is very convenient.

Definitely CCI. I have stayed there and loved it. I am staying at The Menage in April for three reasons. #1 I have never stayed there and like to try new places. #2 because I got a great rate of $76 on Expedia. #3 They recently spent a lot of $$ renovating the place so it should be nice. That being said, I already regret my decision because by the time you add in the $10 parking fee, no breakfast ($5 pp value) and no free, dedicated shuttle ($3 pp value, cost of ART), it adds $18 per day to the rate and doesn't seem like such a bargain afterall . I do however think it will be a nice place to stay. Look at pics of both places and decide which factors are most important to you. Have a wonderful trip!

CCI was great on our last trip! Free dedicated shuttle and within walking distance if you prefer.

I'm with every one else... definitely Candy Cane Inn!!
