We've never stayed at HoJo's but it sounds like it would be fine if you were to choose that. We have always stayed at CCI. Although we never really need their shuttle, it's really great at the end of the day when you leave the park if you so desire. Either direction, we may or may not take it depending on the timing since the walk is really not bad at all. Simply a very nice option and comfortable to boot.
Our last trip, we went to the Gardenwalk on a couple different occasions. A very short walk, indeed. And, some really nice restaurant options there as well.
We always reserve their premium room which includes several small amenities, but we mainly like it for the in-room breakfast every morning.
We don't do the pool that much but when we do, it has usually been pretty crowded. It's nice but on the small side for sure. Below are a few pics from our last trip to give you an idea......
