We just got back from a 4-night stay at CCI (6/21-6/25). It is our favorite place to stay. We love the convenience of the walk, the dedicated shuttle and the breakfast. We usually grab a bagel, banana and juice for the walk. If we have more time, we get some cereal and sit there to eat. The walk is super easy as you don't have to cross Harbor or wait for that light. The only street you have to cross is the shuttle entrance and usually that's a short wait or you can risk walking against the light which we often did.
The shuttle leaves CCI on the hour and half hour and leaves the parks on the 15 and 45. There is no shuttle at 8pm or 8:15pm (at least for our trip). When we were there this weekend, the last shuttle left the park 45 minutes after the official park closing time. So, if the park closed at 11, the last shuttle was at 11:45. If it closed at midnight, the last shuttle was at 12:45. So, if you are still shopping on Main Street until 1am, you would have to walk back.
I don't know if we had a standard or deluxe room, but it had plenty of space IMO. The fridge was great for snacks and waters, there was plenty or drawer space, place to sit and relax, and space for our luggage. There isn't a "closet" that's enclosed, but in the bathroom area there is a rack to hang clothes. There were open "cubbies" next to the TV and a table with two chairs. We brought a power strip to plug in behind the nightstand and used that to charge our phones, camera, etc. There was a plug near the door, but that wasn't really convenient for anything we found.
