Candy Cane Inn or Castle Inn and Suites?

Any preference between the 2? Candy Cane will be recently updated, so I think they may have an edge, but no suites ... so we would book two rooms there. Just looking for opinions. Thanks!!

Before March or April 2022? Castle would be the only option until then.

Generally CCI gets better reviews than CI&S, and they have the handy dandy shuttle.

I haven't tried Castle Inn and Suites, but we liked Candy Cane Inn alot. The rooms were a bit small for our family of 4, but the breakfast, ambience, shuttle and short walk made up for that. They are renovating the hotel so I bet it will be even nicer when they reopen next year. I have booked 2 adjoining premium rooms for next June. The Premium room includes breakfast delivered to your room, which was SO great and a real time saver in the morning.

I booked 2 connecting premium rooms there as well, and have Castle Inn as a backup in case they don't reopen in time.

Candy Cane Inn is the best even pre refurb. The place was spotless and they don't nickel and dime you like the other places.
