Candy Cane Heart Question

I can't find it....the thread that talks about making hearts for Valentine's Day out of Christmas Candy Canes. I am not sure if I saw it here, the WISH or Recipe. I looked on all, but was unable to find it. Can anyone help? I am mainly wondering what the oven temp should be and for how long.....Thanks

Thanks caitycaity....I did find it. Under 200 degrees until soft to the touch....thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

A cute gift for valentine's day
DD and I have made these the past few years....all you need are left over candy canes and a cookie sheet (okay maybe a few other things but they are easy to find).

Heat your oven to a warm setting (under 200 degrees). Place a sheet of parchment paper on the cookie sheet then place your candy canes with the hooks facing each other to form the shape of a heart. Put them in the warm oven and let them sit there until they get soft to the touch. Take them out and pinch the canes where they meet (top and bottom) to seal the heart.

We put them in decorated gift bags and give them to her friends and classmates. It's really cute and fun to do.

Not ony is this nice for Valentine's Day but, DD's Pre-K class made a variation of these, w/o an oven, in class for Christmas ~

2 candy canes, shaped like a heart, hot-glued (by parents) onto a felt backing and, the kids glued their pic into the middle and, decorated with glitter glue, stickers, etc. Made an adorable ornament!
