If you are doing this for high school graduation parties, do you do this instead of food???

No. We had a ton of food too. This was for their "goodie bags" to take home.

I am so glad!!! All I could picture was a bunch of old, generic candy and a bunch of sugared out, gagged out people!!!

Since it was June, we had a big cookout. We had burgers, hot dogs and kabobs. Plus all the fixins like potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, etc. I didn't put out the candy until near the end of the party after everyone ate.

I am new to the idea of the candy buffet. I've never been anywhere that had it, so I'd love to do this!
Where is everyone getting the GREAT containers. I'm thinking ahead to graduation 2012.
If I do this for my dd graduation party should I just use candy that is the school colors? (red and yellow...might be kinda hard)
