Ok so I have never seen it from inside the seating area. The people that I have seen going in there have been dressed up. Do you have to?

I will be seeing my first CP this Saturday but I will also be going to MK in the morning and then Epcot. I am only coming over for the day and being the Floridian that I am - I will want to wear something cooler, like shorts. Will I be the only oddball in shorts? I dont want to have to be in nice clothes all day. HELP!!

No, you don't need to dress up. Theme park attire is perfectly appropriate.

Hope you have a good time!

I saw people dressed up but from what I saw they were people who took a break during the day to change (because they were doing the dinner package) or they were the family of somebody in the show.

Dress the way you would for anything (well, most anything, not V&A's) else at the World. Keep in mind at might be cool at night (cold for you :p). You'll love it, Christine. And no, dinner package does not really matter. Casual, Disney attire is fine.

I am going with my 4 children on Christmas night. I am not getting dressed up because we will be in the park all day and I want to be comfortable. I also have a dinner reservation (in Germany...so nothing too fancy anyway). I think it is appropriate to dress in theme park attire as well.

We had the dinner package and we wore our regular park attire to CP. We were there in early December (5th) and it was quite chilly that night. Had we thought of the gloves, we would have worn them so keep that in mind.

There are those who do dress to the 9's because they are doing the high end of the package and it is encouraged. There are those who do not. It's really up to you. From the aspect of one of the preformers last year (Hi! that was me, the tallest female in the tree, 2nd row red head! several nights on the Alto side) It was very nice to see everone who dressed up. It was a MOVING experience and nerve wracking as well. *grin* The artists who preformed with us did a great job and made us feel great. The only night that was bad was the night that it rained and I didn't have a poncho or a jacket and ended up watching the Christmas edition of Illuminations in the pouring Rain. *grin* Talk about a soggy chorus girl!
