Anyone know when they will release the information regarding dinner packages, such as cost & locations? Also, what about narriators & times?

I'm thinking of doing this my first night at Disney World, but as I'm arriving on a Friday night, am wondering if I should wait and do it during the week. Is it less crowded during the week versus the weekend performances?

I saw on Deb's website that tickets were available last year on September 2. I would sure like to know as well.

It's been around the end of August/beginning of September the past 2 or 3 years. Weekends are more crowded than weekdays. Weekdays in the early part of the month are usually easy to do standby.

Thanks for the info. Will keep my eyes posted. I kinda guessed that the weekends would be more crowded, so I was thinking maybe I'd do this during the week on a non-magic hour EPCOT night.

Hopefully it will be another great lineup of guest narriators. When I went in 2002, it was supposed to be Roy Disney, but he had to cancel, so Edward James Olmos filled in. When I went in 2003, it was Andy Garcia.

I definitely want to do a 6:45pm show. When I went in 2002, I did this one and it was great. When I went in 2003, I did the 5pm and thought it was too early. It did not get dark until after the show finished and I felt it kinda lost the look of the lights in the background and the candles.

I know it's getting closer, they're opening up the Cast Choir slots on 8/5, you can usually expect the dates/times/narrators to be open a month later. I had a blast last year as part of the cast Choir (tallest female, always in the 2nd to last row up top, on 7 nights last year!)

They will start selling CP packages in early Sept.,though I don't think we will know who guest narrators are until October. Will try to get my package for Le Cellier and 6:45 performance of CP on Decemebr 7th. :goodvibes :wizard:

Thanks for the information. I thought it was sometime late August/early September, but was not sure. I did the dinner package twice and enjoyed it. Plus I knew in advance that my dinner was bought and paid for.

For those of you who do the CP, do you do MVMCP too? I did CP twice and loved it. Did MVMCP once and thought it was ok, but found it pretty crowded (got on one attraction all night).

Thanks again!!

Thanks for the update. Looks like I'm going to have to do 2 packages this trip. Definitely have to see Jim Caviezel & Eartha Kitt (Yzma from Emperor's New Groove). Lou Diamond Phillips & Harry Hamlin will also be narrating, but I think I'd really love to see Jim & Eartha perform this.

Yippeeee!!!!

My mother and I saw Jim Caviezel last year and he was great. I was thinking of skipping it this year because my husband really is not into this kind of thing....however I see Jim Caviezel will be there during my stay this year, so my husband may have to just humor me.

OMG, Eartha Kitt! I would love to see her do this, but I think that I will settle for listening from outside of the theater. I mean, who couldn't love that gravely wonderful voice. Lou Diamond Phillips is a good one as far as I am concerned too. Afterall, he is the ex of the ex of my favorite rock star. ;) Our last night will be Harry Hamlin.....just not feelin' that one.

Good luck to everyone that books your CP dinner packages. I just might buy the package and then hand off the badge to someone waiting in the stand by line. This is not our favorite event, but I know that it's a big hit with a lot of other people. Happy planning! Maggie
