Maybe this is a dumb question, but does it cost anything extra to see the Candlelight Processional show? I read about the dinner packages, but I was just wondering if you could just see the show, without the dinner. Thanks.

Leaving for POR in 7 days!!

Anyone can see it for free. People buy the dinner package because of "preferred seating". However, it sounds like people wait in line to get in, dinner package or not.

We're going for the first time on 12/10...with a dinner package. Can't wait!

No question is ever too dumb. How will you know if you don';t ask. The Candelight Processional is free. There are three shows, I beleive 5:00pm, 6:45 and 8:15, don't quote me exactly. Be sure to line up VERY early. Sometimes the wait is about an hour maybe more to get into the theatre. It is an outdoor theatre, so you can see/hear everything from just outside the pavillion. WE are leaving in 10 days!!! Andy Garcia is our narrator. Can't wait. Enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving!

If you do have the Dinner Package, how early should you arrive??

When do they start letting package guests into the theater??

I have the package on 12/12 for the 5:00 show, is this show less crowded? If I arrive 1/2 hour before the show, will I have bad seats?

Thanks for the help!
;) :D ,

From what I have been told, they give the"reserved" seating away 15-20 minutes prior to the show. So the recommendation if you have the Dinner package is to be there 30- 45 minutes prior.

We have the Dinner package on the first night Nov 30th.

Most time's though you will need to que up at least 1 hour or hour and half before show to get a seat. When we visit Epcot we always eat a nice dinner in evening any way.So we get dinner package and get in CP Package que 30 to 45 minutes before show.So if you are planning on having sit down dinner at Epcot the day you are going to CP I would get CP package to save you some major time standing in que.:wave2:

It depends on when you want to go. Midweek in the first 2 weeks of the month, 45 minutes is probably sufficient to get in the standby line. There have been times we have walked in 5 minutes before and got a seat. Weekends and closer to Christmas, you do need at least 60 to 90 minutes.

Last year we had the package and got held up by Tapestry of Dreams near Morocco. We got to the theater 30 minutes before and they had already started seating the package line. We couldn't get in the front section, we were in the second section (not under cover). It was a nice night so it didn't matter, but the next night it was pouring rain, we were thinking how lucky we were to go the night before.
