Candlelight Processional

Question...Historically who knew first when the CP were going to be released? Was it:

- on this board...when someone called and was able to secure a CP
- on the official website...when it listed when the CP would be available
- on one of the other sites...again when it listed when the CP would be available

I'm wondering if I am wasting my time calling each morning...not that I mind now that I have the 800 #. But it DRIVES ME CRAZY that I can't get 2 CMs to give me the same info.

My DH thinks I am COMPLETELY nuts that I am on the phone every morning by 7am trying to get a CP.

Word spreads fast but I remember reading a thread here that packages would go on sale August 15 last year. But before we knew that date, we already knew a tentative list of speakers.

I think when I saw the post about August 15 I also remember the info being on several websites; the DIS, allearnet, mouseplanet etc....probably because they all have a in with Disney. ;)

I've read over and over that there was advance notice last year, but I would imagine that the boards had the date before the Disney site.

I'm nuts with ya so don't feel bad

When we were watching for AP rates for the summer, we were the first ones to know. It wasn't online and it wasn't on mousesavers before we found out. I will continue to call. It's important to me. Until I get the same answer from two different people as to a date they can be booked, I will continue to call.

So I guess it's you and me!

I would kick myself if after a week of straight called I stopped and they were released that morning. Thank goodness for the 800 #.

I am planning our December trip and was not sure if my DD would like the candlelight processional. She will be almost 4 yrs old and I don't know if this would hold her interest. Also because we take a slower pace- tour for 1/2 days only, would our time be better spent going to the tree lighting and visiting the various Christmas customs at the WS? We have two days planned for Epcot. What do you all think?
TIA!

I just saw this thread..but I thought deb wills already had the lineup of narrators, just not the specific dates they are set to host the show :confused3

Just adding my little 2 cents:

I talked with a CM yesterday. Asked all the questions posted here. Great minds think alike. And he said based on what he remembered from last year, Mid August they should be able to accept ressies, the DDP was used last year when making ressies, and he was still waiting on instructions for CP.

I'm anxious about this too. Keep posting anything you find out.

I called first thing this morning and was told that these should be released within the next week or so.

Just adding my name to the thread. I am especially concerned since I have just one night available and I will be gone 8/12-8/18(To WDW of course!)

Adding myself to the list of those waiting to hear when the CP reservations will be announced. I'm trying to book the first week it's starting on 11/26. I've never been and looking forward to a wonderful evening for my mom's 74th B-Day :bday: .
